I realized I never formally claimed credit for the term — Somed — an abbreviated (and less obnoxious) term to replace Social Media.

The term social media has always bothered me, because in many cases, the word “media” is misleading. Anyway, I started using the term Somed back in October of 2009 so thought I’d plant the flag and call it mine!
