Hi C.Y.

Sorry it's taken us a bit of time to respond!

I'm not sure what to say about your first issue. We experience that as well momentarily, but haven't again. We figured it was an issue with Twitter's API at the time. Has that resolved itself yet?

For question 2, here's how you configure the blocks:

1) Create a Twitter Post Block *from the sidebar, and make sure you set which hashtags you'd like to pull in. You'll see a box on the right of the edit page where you'll set one or more hashtags. (see the attached image)
2) Make sure you've sent some tweets with the matching hashtags...
3) Manually update the Twitter Blocks Plugin or wait for it to automatically update
4) Add the widget to a sidebar region and set the number of Tweets and which block you'd like to display.

Let me know how it goes.

peace,
Steve

Hi, thank you for this great plugin, now I have some little problems:

1. Every time after it updates tweets, either automatically or manually, I got duplicated twitter posts (but not all duplicated, eg. 103 posts -> 195 without any new tweets). It's still duplicating for every update... I use qTranslate which makes three text fields for the title and 3 content fields in all Post Block pages as well as Twitter Post pages, because I use 3 languages. Is that causing the problem?

2. I have no idea how to configure Twitter Post Block. I tried several settings but can't make it to show my tweets on the widget. Could it possible to you to write some guides?

Best regards,

C.Y. PAN

Edit: seems not caused by qTranslate, I disabled qTranslate, clear all tweets, update, 103 tweets; update again, 195, then again, now I have 287 tweets...

Hi there,

Have you tried Apollo? I think it might possibly be a good compromise. Have a look! http://www.apollohq.com.
It does project management + CRM with cases&deals, timers, calendars... and it's a zippy AJAX application!
Thanks for listening :D

Merc.

P.S.
This was the biased opinion of somebody working at Applicom!

Yes, Drupal modules are tuff and not that user friendly too. Just because of these reasons, we cannot ignore a CMS which is the best for a blog and showcase websites.

I echo your wow Steve and add a we. It's was a revelation to me as a first time "SVI'r" to find such a well established and welcoming community of diverse but similarly minded individuals. My brain and fingers have been flying since the conference ended trying to keep up with the vast number of new ideas and possibilities. We can make change and "we"is all inclusive. I hope that anyone reading this that is looking for a meaningful way to make a difference and just can't think of how to do it will go to SVI. And, anyone who has a great idea but just doesn't know where to start; start at SVI. AND, anyone who has a social enterprise underway but needs a hand to overcome the inevitable obstacles, get to SVI. It is transformative.

Great account of how i have experienced SVI! I was at the first one called Spirit and Business in 1997 when Joel was too embarrassed to talk and have been to many since. I vow to be there next year as it simply gets better and better every time. <br>

Great post, Steve. You've articulated well what a lot of us feel: SVI cultivates a passionately connected family of people and organizations united by their commitments to catalyze change and make the world better and better. Yours was a powerful contribution of presence, heart and intellect. The community is better for having you as a member. Thanks.
