Rachel is proud to lead the Briteweb Digital & Brand teams in the discovery, design, and architecture of engaging brand experiences. Having spent the last fifteen years at the intersection of digital communications, product strategy, and project delivery—working with everything from early-stage technology startups to Fortune 500 companies—Rachel feels most aligned when she’s collaborating with purpose-led organizations.
After spending the early part of her career in digital music and online publishing, Rachel led several accounts for Edelman, the world’s largest independent communications firm. She launched a range of integrated digital platforms and campaigns across a wide spectrum of industries, with a focus on consumer and healthcare brands.
In 2012, Rachel left Vancouver to explore a more sustainable lifestyle on a remote island in the Salish Sea and try her hand at self-employment—and farming. What started as “just freelancing” grew into a virtual agency with 8-12 other independent collaborators, as well as a roster of regular clients and projects across Canada and the United States. Rachel then worked as a Senior Digital Strategist in the Briteweb Network from 2017 to 2018, leading the strategy for purpose-led organizations like Tides, Wildlife Conservation Network, Art For Justice Fund, and Flamboyan Foundation. In 2018, she joined digital agency Modern Tribe as a full-time senior product strategist. While there, Rachel worked with partners and teammates around the world to deliver digital solutions that empower people and platforms.
When she’s not facilitating discussions, scoping requirements, brainstorming creative solutions, or analyzing research findings, Rachel can usually be found in the garden or on the beach with her family.
