The Challenge

St. Paul’s Foundation, dedicated to advancing compassionate healthcare in British Columbia, embarked on a groundbreaking project to develop a cutting-edge new hospital and medical campus in Vancouver. Recognizing the need for a modernized online presence, they approached Briteweb to refresh their existing brand and create a website aligned with their forward-thinking vision. We worked together to build a more efficient and easily navigable digital space that highlighted their work, brought campaigns to life, and made it simple for supporters to donate.

The Insight

We began by performing an audit of the existing site and content, and creating a content strategy document in advance of the website rebuild. This was a new concept for the Foundation team, so we started by introducing the basics and explaining the philosophy of a thorough content plan. Through workshops and practical examples, we established mutual trust and confidence within our teams, building a strong foundation for our working relationship.

Our content strategy document became the guiding force for the website rebuild. This document not only outlined the necessary changes but also demonstrated the need for a more cohesive and purposeful online presence. The St Paul’s team were ready to embrace change, and felt confident as they entered the website redevelopment phase.

The Solution

We refreshed the St Paul’s Foundation existing brand and delivered a new website to reflect its position as a leader in innovative care. The reduced color palette and use of custom icons highlight the newly accessible content and make it easy to navigate. Promise Magazine, a yearly news magazine, evolved from a static PDF format to interactive, editorial-style pages, expanding engagement opportunities and showcasing their impactful storytelling. The revamped website now features a centralized “Ways to Give” page, organizing previously scattered donation options and driving new contributions. The website now reflects the St Paul’s Foundation of the future, brings due recognition to existing supporters, and conveys their exciting message of transformation in healthcare.
